Primary Teaching and Learning

Learning is most powerful when it is meaningful, purposeful and experienced firsthand. In our Primary School, students are placed at the centre of the learning process, developing knowledge, skills and understanding through practical exploration, hands-on activities and inquiry-based learning. Through a broad and balanced curriculum, children are encouraged to question, investigate, create and collaborate, building confidence, curiosity and independence as they grow.

Rooted in the Cayman Islands, our curriculum connects learning to the world around us. From exploring Caymanian history, culture and identity to investigating our unique marine and natural environments, students make meaningful links between classroom learning and real-life experiences. Supported by expert teachers and enriched by educational visits, outdoor learning and community partnerships, every child is inspired to develop a lifelong love of learning while building the knowledge, skills and values needed to thrive locally and globally.

Our students are placed at the centre of learning and teaching. Inquiry based activities and differentiated opportunities enhance learning for all students by engaging them in activities that respond to particular learning needs, strengths, and preferences
