Extra-Curricular Activities

Our clubs and enrichment programme provides students with opportunities to explore new interests, develop existing talents and build friendships with peers who share similar passions. Whether a child enjoys sport, the arts, technology, leadership or creative activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Clubs are available throughout the year for students in Years 1 to 6. Most clubs take place after school, while some are offered during lunchtime. Activities are led by our teachers and specialist staff and vary from term to term.

Opportunities may include:

• Art and craft
• Choir and music groups
• Chess
• Coding and technology
• Drama
• Reading and literacy activities
• Cheer and gymnastics
• Board and card games
• Homework support
• Football, rugby, netball, cricket and basketball
• Creative and special interest clubs

Some activities are provided free of charge, while others may incur a small fee.

Beyond school-based clubs, students also have opportunities to represent Cayman Prep & High School through competitions, performances and sporting events. Our students regularly participate in island-wide events, including art competitions, essay writing competitions, spelling bees, sporting fixtures and the National Children’s Festival of the Arts (NCFA), where they consistently achieve excellent results.

For students interested in developing their musical talents further, individual instrumental lessons are available with specialist music teachers. Additional fees apply.

Above all, our clubs and enrichment programme encourages students to try new things, discover hidden talents and make the most of their Primary School experience.
