Primary School
Extra-Curricular Activities
Clubs are available throughout the year to children from year 1 to 6. Most clubs run after school whilst some clubs happen during lunch hour. The clubs are hosted by teachers and are very popular with the children.
Clubs vary from term to term and may include the following: art and craft clubs, choir, chess, computer, drama, literacy boost, netball, newspaper, book, cricket, basketball, football, school band, recorders, sailing, gymnastics, dance, card games, rugby, pottery, board games, homework club, typing and model making. Some clubs are free whilst others charge a nominal fee.
The children participate in many inter-school sporting activities and regularly perform musical items at a variety of venues throughout the island.
There are opportunities to learn a musical instrument with specialist music teachers. This incurs an additional fee.
Our children use their talents out in the community and participate in island–wide competitions (in essay writing, art, spelling bees) and sporting events, as well as the annual National Children’s Festival of the Arts, earning many of the highest awards.
As you can see there really is something for everyone!
