High School Drama

We have a thriving Drama department here at CPHS with several opportunities for students to take part in extra-curricular performances as well as allowing them the opportunity to choose Drama for IGCSE and A Level. We aim to help students to explore their creativity and grow in confidence throughout their time at CPHS.

Our Theatre Vertical Learning classes allow students from different year groups to create innovative performances together.

Year 7 are preparing exciting performances based on Lewis Caroll’s the Jabberwocky. They are combining physical theatre and storytelling to create engaging and interesting pieces of theatre.

​CPHS prides itself on producing high-quality extra-curricular productions.  Most recently, we showcased the hit musical ‘School of Rock’ and we are now preparing for a more dramatic play, ‘The House of Bernarda Alba,’ to truly showcase the acting skills of our students.​
