Year 6 Students at Cayman Prep and High School Create Their Own Caribbean Islands for Charity

At the end of the last academic year, our talented Year 6 students at Cayman Prep and High School embarked on an exciting and creative journey — inventing, planning, and crafting their very own Caribbean Islands!

This innovative project challenged the students to think like entrepreneurs. They pitched unique island concepts, secured loans, and designed island-inspired products that truly brought their imaginative ideas to life. The entire school community eagerly visited the vibrant stalls to explore and purchase these one-of-a-kind, student-made items.

What made this project even more meaningful was our students’ commitment to giving back. After repaying their loans, all proceeds were donated to a charity carefully selected by the students themselves: Jasmine Palliative Care, an organization renowned for its compassionate care services across the Cayman Islands.

A very special visit from Jodie Miller of Jasmine Palliative Care allowed our students to learn firsthand about the positive impact their support has on the community. Their dedication to making a meaningful difference truly inspired everyone involved!

At Cayman Prep and High School, we believe in nurturing creativity, entrepreneurship, and community spirit — empowering our students to become thoughtful leaders of tomorrow.
