After School Care Leader/ Supply Teacher (part-time)

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, planning and implementing the day-to-day operations of our After School Care Programme from 1:15pm to 5:45pm during term time. Key areas of responsibility are:

• Care and safety of all students
• Planning and delivering imaginative and innovative activities
• Recording attendance
• Supervising all after school care staff
• Managing equipment and ordering supplies
• Provide cover as a supply teacher as and when required

The successful applicant must be a qualified, experienced teacher with a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution, together with an internationally recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education or H.Dip.Ed. The successful candidate must have a minimum of three years’ current experience teaching a British-based curriculum and up to date knowledge and experience of teaching the revised English National Curriculum 2014. Additionally, the successful candidate must have an up to date first aid qualification. Candidates will be expected to fully adhere to and support the Christian ethos of the school.

Salary range for the position listed above is CI$24,500 – CI$30,500 per annum commensurate with experience. The salary for the role of Supply Teacher will be $150.00 per day. Other benefits include medical insurance and contribution to a pension plan.
