What is GoMAD ?
Go MAD (Go Make A Difference) is the catchy name used for our Community Service Programme. Students in Years 7-10 are required to complete AT LEAST 10 hours of Community Service annually. It is assumed that students in Years 10-13 will continue their involvement, voluntarily, leading by example through participation in the life of the school and the wider community. Through active service to others, the personal, social, emotional and spiritual welfare of our students is enriched. This takes the form of initiating and/or participating in events to benefit others in the local or international community as well as taking positive action to care for and protect the environment and cultural heritage of our world.
Each year, our school plans a whole-school event to celebrate our commitment to Community Service, and the funds raised are donated to a Charity.
