The House System

The House system plays a very important part in the life of the School, promoting both healthy competition of all kinds and supportive social interaction. Students are placed in one of three School Houses, named after former ministers of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands:

Redpath (red)
Elmslie (green)
Young (yellow)

Students who transfer from the Primary School to the High School continue in the same House and siblings are usually allocated to that House. House activities are planned by the House Coordinator, who is supported in this by the Heads of House and the House Captains who are elected to represent each Form from Kindergarten through to Year 13. Every teacher is also allocated to a House.
