High School Principal - Phillip Burgess
Welcome to the High School. My name is Mr. Phillip Burgess and I have the honour and the privilege of being the High School Principal.
The High School has over 400 students enrolled in Years 7 – 13. The High School is sub-divided into three sections: Middle School (Years 7, 8 and 9); Upper School (Years 10 and 11); and the Sixth Form (Years 12 and 13). Each sub-section is professionally led by a Head of School. The academic programs for each stage of learning are led by individual Faculty Heads and the pastoral care of students from year 7 to 13 is provided by our Guidance Counsellor and by Form Tutors who develop a supportive and caring relationship with their students.
The school prides itself on extremely high standards of academic rigour and achievement. We are also highly committed to the development of excellence in all aspects of the students’ lives. The School’s ethos is firmly grounded in Christian principles which provide the foundation for the student’s character development and personal growth. The school believes very strongly that the combination of very high levels of academic rigour with strong Christian ethics develops a student extremely well prepared to not only succeed but to also be an exemplar to others in life beyond Cayman Prep and High School.
Thank you and welcome to the High School.
