The growth of Cayman Prep and High School Sixth Form from just 12 students to over 90 students in ten years not only indicates the great strength and success of our Advanced Level programme but also the ever increasing competition within education and for University places.

Changes within education and University admissions over the past few years have consistently placed higher demands on all students.  At Cayman Prep and High School we pride ourselves on being ahead of the curve in ensuring that all of our students gain access to the University of their choice.  Our A’ level programme, in conjunction with our ‘UPrep’ study skills course and the ‘Here and Now’ current affairs programme ensure that all students leave CPHS fully equipped for the demands of undergraduate study.

We pride ourselves on preparing young adults for the rigours of University life wherever they choose to go in the world.
With a broad range of subject choices for students, we are pleased to have the breadth of opportunity for access to a vast array of undergraduate study.  Whether it be medicine, engineering, accountancy, psychology, veterinary sciences or classics- our past students have left CPHS and are now dotted around the world either studying or working in their chosen careers. The Cambridge A’ levels are recognized globally and particularly within the United States, where they accrue credits and advanced standing. Past students have gone on to Universities in North America, United Kingdom, Asia, New Zealand and within Europe.
Beyond the classroom we work closely with all students as they apply for University. From the initial course selection and degree research to the final placement, we work alongside every student individually in order to ensure that they have made the absolute best choices in their application.  Our role does not end once students leave the school, as we remain in touch as assist with student finance issues, scholarship applications, University fee assessments, work placements and much more. “Once a CPHS student- always a CPHS student!”

Life in the sixth form moves at a relentless pace.  The demands of studying combined with the many extra-curricular opportunities mean that a strong work ethic, good time management and maturity are an absolute must for success. We have very high expectations of all sixth form students and work closely with them in order to ensure that each and every student reaches their potential.
