Mr Brendan Touhey Head of Student Welfare and Support
Student Welfare and Support is a vast area that encompasses so may aspects of life within school, and outside of school. With out fantastic team of tutors and Key Stage Coordinators we all aim to provide support for all students so that they can thrive inside and outside of the classroom. Whether we are offering careers advice, wellness guidance, or focusing on the importance of altruism within a global community, we must always keep at the forefront of our minds that we have the potential to make a positive difference in what we choose to do. Our pastoral programme focuses on 5 key areas:
Enjoying and achieving success
Each month students focus on a different area, developing their understanding and preparing themselves for life beyond the classroom. In 6th form this may involve budgeting for travel to University or in Year 9 this may focus on careers and their impact within the community.
Our student Super Council meets regularly to develop their proposals for the school year and improve the school environment for everyone. The student voice has power and makes a big difference in the daily lives of students and staff on campus.
Join us throughout the year for one of our coffee mornings, information evenings, or just come in and ask for a tour of the school. Working in partnership with parents we hope to make sure that everyone gets the #CPHSAdvantage
