Welcome to the newly revised website of Cayman Prep and High School!

Who are we?

We are an international co-educational school owned and operated by the United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, providing a high quality education for students of all nationalities, aged from 4 to 18. We offer a broad curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales but encompassing a local Cayman Island dimension. We cater for students of a range of abilities and our highly qualified and experienced teachers come from a variety of educational backgrounds. We are proud of our high standards and examination successes and delighted and encouraged by the report from the Cayman Islands Inspectorate which was based on our whole school inspection of March 2006. We continue to strive for excellence.

Where are we?

Cayman Prep and High School operates on two sites, about 1½ miles apart, both on the outskirts of George Town, the capital of Grand Cayman. The Primary site, on Smith road to the east of the town centre, caters for students from ages 4 to 6 in its Infant section, including Kindergarten, and from ages 7 to 10+ in its Junior section. The High School is situated on Walkers Road, just south of the town centre and caters for students aged 11 to 18 years.

To guarantee the continued success of our students at Cayman Prep and High School, we continue to ensure that educational facilities and standards remain at the highest level. The growth and the increasing involvement of the Cayman Islands in world financial markets compel us to ensure that we maintain the provision of world class educational opportunities that equip our students to compete successfully on any international stage. The United Church has established a Long Term Planning Committee which will ensure that the school will be able to accommodate the increasing demand for places.
