Primary School

Our Primary School (Kindergarten to Year 6) is housed at Smith Road. The multi-cultural student body is complemented by teachers of various nationalities, who each offer a wealth of experience and expertise. A great strength of the school has always been its friendly cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Specialist teachers in the areas of PE, Music and ICT ensure that the students have access to a top class all-round education. We also have Numeracy and Literacy Learning Centres, where highly qualified teachers are able to offer learning support to those students who could benefit from extra help in these key areas.

The Primary site at Smith Road boasts a state-of-the-art computer lab, with wireless connection to computers in every classroom. A custom designed library, a spacious Art/Science/DT room and a large music room, with smaller instrumental practice rooms are also on site. School assemblies, indoor PE lessons and various other activities ensure that the multi-purpose hall is well utilised.

The Primary site also includes the only Astroturf playing field of any school in the Cayman Islands. It provides a superb surface for soccer, football and a variety of other games and activities.

In addition to a very full curriculum, a myriad of extra curricular activities is offered both during lunch times and after school. Individual and group musical activities, various sports, drama, art, cookery and gardening are just a few of the possible options.
